It's especially funny because dA is the site that actually caused me to install adblock in the first place. They gave me a virus twice, and the community gave me quite a bit of hassle when I was trying to figure out why;

Same here! 
I was getting sick of DA infecting my computer. Bloody cheeky of them to try and guilt people into not protecting themselves.
The way I see it, an AdBlocker is just another defence against viruses. 
If a website wants to make money through advertising, they should do it cleanly and without putting users at risk. DA are directly responsible for ads that drop viruses and malware, and should be held LEGALLY accountable for that.
